Felt Patch Making - Sunday August 24th - 1:00-3:00 pm

Join our friend Maggie Attiyeh, owner of Three States Fiber Art, for a creative needle felting session where you’ll add a one-of-a-kind felted patch to a denim jacket or denim item of your choice! This is a fun and approachable way to customize your clothing while learning the basics of needle felting. You’ll explore how wool can be shaped into bold designs, soft textures, or quirky statements. All supplies and instructions are included, and no experience is necessary. Please bring a denim garment or accessory to work on. Ages 14+ (sharp needles), though young people aged 10–13 are welcome with an adult participant.

Maggie began needle felting in 2017 because she thought it looked fun. Since then, she has made everything from coasters to carrots to capybaras with wool and a pointy barbed needle.  As she says, after you stab something a thousand times, you start to feel better. She creates and teaches folks of all ages with joy!
