We are thrilled to share with you that Prairie Wind Family Farm and Liberty Prairie are joining forces under the name Liberty Prairie. We are doing this to grow our shared impact further than we could as individual organizations.
Together we are offering a 2024 CSA program that will be similar to the CSA Farm Share program formerly offered by Prairie Wind Family Farm. For this program, we will continue to grow organic vegetables and work with our long-time friends and partners, Mick Klug Farms for fresh local fruit and Joe's Farm for pasture-raised eggs.
We are growing and transitioning our farmstand into a farm store, moving its location to the Prairie Crossing Station Square. This location allows greater access as people can get there by car, bike, foot, or train. We will continue to offer our produce and the products of our farming friends and partners year-round. We will continue to accept government food vouchers, cash, and credit cards. We feel increasing food access is needed to make the kind of impact Lake County deserves.
While much changes, our commitment to our community, growing food and the land remains steadfast. Thank you for your steadfast support of us and in our work.
